Stephanie Schantz is CEO and Founder of Legal Lingua, LLC which is the perfect blend of her passion for law and education.

Celebrating 18 years in 2024, Legal Linga offers a suite of English legal courses to non- native English-speaking lawyers and legal professionals across the globe. The launch followed 5 years practicing law while living in San Francisco, CA.

Currently calling the US and Europe home, the term on “both sides of the Pond” accurately describes Stephanie at numerous levels. Bi-lingual in French and English, academically, she holds a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a BA in Government from Franklin & Marshall College (with studies at Sciences Po and La Sorbonne). An international speaker, author and professor, she is a Member of the California Bar Association, an Affiliate member of the North Carolina Bar Association, and was a Board Member of the European Legal English Teachers Association.

In parallel, Stephanie was a lecturer at NYU School of Law, Duke Law School, University of Delaware, Sciences Po, SKEMA-US, and Université de Paris II (Assas) delivering courses on the US and British Legal Systems, Legal Skills for LLM students, Corporate Governance, Int. & US Business Law, US Government, and Entrepreneurship.

Her goal for “Study Abroad for Lawyers 2025” trip is to immerse legal professionals in the rich heritage and contemporary practices of the French legal system, fostering global perspectives through hands-on experiences, expert-led sessions, and cultural exchanges in the heart of Paris. This journey aims to enhance participants’ legal knowledge, expand their professional networks, and inspire cross-cultural understanding, all within an unparalleled setting.
